ShowMe.TV is not a regular social community, it has a unique concept based on a video contest community that challenges and rewards its members to compete in regular video-based contests across four categories. Every month ShowMe.tv launches contests across each category. Contests last for eight weeks and are won by the video entry that receives the most votes.

Upload your profile picture on Facebook to win a Sony camera

Sony is promoting their new camera through an original contest on Facebook. People are offered to upload their Facebook pictures and let others vote for the best one. The best picture is selected in a number of mini-competitions, such as shots of people on the go, nigh shots and portrait pictures, to name a few. The winner gets one of the 5 Sony cameras awarded every week. At the end of the contest, the grand winner will be selected for a trip to Rome.

To participate, contestants must upload their picture to the competition page and invite their friends to support the picture by voting for it. Great work Sony, it’s a good non-intrusive way to build awareness about your new DSLR camera. Let’s see if I can win the NEX-5 cam.

Check the rules of the game below and enter the contest here.
